Spring Blessings

This installation was created with my five-year-old daughter scampering around outside the gallery climbing trees and coloring eggs. The opening took place on Easter Sunday, and my mother was dying of cancer. It was a very personal and joyful reflection of making art in the Springtime in the art community of Cal State Long Beach. Happy times don’t come without some sadness, but blessings abound. I was sad to miss that Easter with my mom, but I knew she rejoiced in my art.
